Issue Tissue

“Everyones got issues, who’s got the tissue? Being humble & kind, shall define real virtue. So keep on rolling, whipping them ass. You would be needed, dearer than cash.”

Why did I make this?

During the COVID pandemic, in many parts of the world, people began hoarding tissue paper. This led to significant shortages and price hikes. It’s intriguing how we often overlook the value of basic items until they’re scarce.

Everyone requires tissue paper when faced with an issue. But how many are prepared to offer a solution? Metaphorically, tissue symbolizes a remedy; an entity that’s gentle, kind, and willing to deal with life’s messes.

What is the message?

Humans can be complicated. The world has always needed — and will continue to need — tissue papers. History speaks volumes about great achievements, but seldom acknowledges the proportion of problem solvers to those facing challenges. When societies foster more individuals keen on resolving problems, issues naturally diminish, restoring balance.

When everything seems awry and negativity permeates, it often indicates a shortage of ‘tissue paper’. Tragically, our educational frameworks rarely address this. With traditional moral compasses wavering, we must devise innovative methods to replenish the world’s ‘tissue paper’ supply. We must cultivate #buddhm.

How can someone adopt this?

Begin by introspecting and minimizing the chaos in your life. This act alone can help balance the demand-supply equation. If we reduce our problems, we reserve ‘tissue paper’ for those genuinely in need. Then, shift your mindset to aiding those around you — be it family, friends, or acquaintances — struggling with issues. You might not always possess the ideal solution; however, lending a sympathetic ear can enable others to vent and eventually discern their answers. Embody the qualities of tissue paper: be soft, gentle, kind, and reliable.
