“Elephant in the room, make some space. It’s not speed that wins the race. Tick-tock, tick-tock, you can’t stop, Sit back until the beat drop.”
Why did I make this?
Everyone has their own quirk, something that brings the best out in them. For a doctor, it may be seeing his patient; for a lawyer, it could be finding a legal loophole. Some people are at their best when they are the center of attention. They thrive when the spotlight is on them. Often, this is rebuked as “attention-seeking”, but who is to say if it’s right or wrong? If it makes you feel good, if it lets you shine, then it’s something to be acknowledged and doubled-down on.
What is the message?
An elephant in a room symbolizes someone being the centre of attention. Someone taking up so much ‘mind’ space that the crowd simply cannot ignore. Like most celebrities, who are at their best when people notice them, if you have a penchant for attention, then seek as much of it as you can. Be so enigmatic and charming that the crowd is spellbound. When you’re at your best, that’s #buddhm.
How can someone adopt this?
Don’t hide from the camera or piercing eyes, especially if you’re in a flow state in their presence. If someone labels you as just an ‘attention seeker’, own it and accept it with pride. There’s nothing wrong with that. Do it without any expectations, do it because that’s what your heart tells you to. Nothing else matters. Your #buddhm is in letting yourself be.
